I was really inspired by zen garden balancing rocks and there aesthetics. I love how they look as they would fall and make you feel also uneasy and unsteady however also make you feel relaxed and calm. I was really inspired by the shapes and how small rocks are balancing bigger rocks and how the irregular shapes and sizes all work together.

I wanted to take inspiration from the the rocks and paint simplified versions of them. I love how the paintings look. I love on how simple but effective they look. I like the combination between 2D balance of the colour and shapes but also the 3D factions as they look like rocks stacked but in actual fact it is a flat painting.
